My Sewing Room

Looking toward the North East, my computer and Bernina artista 200E sewing/embroidery machine which has been upgraded to a 730E in the back ground with my cutting table in the foreground. At the left edge of the picture is my ironing press and at the right edge, my Bernina artista 180E sewing/embroidery machine. On top of the cutting table is an ironing board Patrick made. It is about 36" by 48" and is really handy. There have been some changes made. The 180E was replaced with a second 200E and the 170E was sold. The 1230 went to visit our daughter on loan only. The 180E was sold along with the DECO 600 and I got a 153QE for sewing. The 153QE was replaced by an aurora 440QEE which was replaced by an artista 630 which holds the sewing honors today. Patrick has a Brother Innov-is 4000D back in his sewing/embroidery room where he mainly does stitch-outs of the designs he digitizes.

Looking South East, again my Bernina artista 180E which has been replaced by a 200E and then a 153QE, a 440 QEE and finally an artista 630 next to my library and a table with my serger under the design board. Next to the design board are several pegboards with notions. Not shown are the closet with just shelves for my stash and the TV. The room keeps evolving. The style is contemporary accumulation. We've gone through three Rowenta 886 irons since this picture was taken. They sure aren't what they used to be.

The embroidery corner.

Lonestar
This Lonestar quilt is actually a 120" square king size bed spread. The picture doesn't do it justice.
